COUNTRY Financial® to Sponsor Bo Jackson’s Bo Bikes Bama Event to Raise Funds for Disaster Preparedness and Relief

WHAT: COUNTRY Financial, an insurance and financial services company that serves clients in 19 states including Alabama, will sponsor Bo Bikes Bama, a cycling event founded by former All-American football and baseball player Bo Jackson. The event raises money for the Alabama Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund, which provides funds for natural disaster relief and the construction of community safe rooms and warning sirens across the state. According to bobikesbama.com, money raised from the event has helped to repair 600 homes, construct 75 safe rooms and 10 emergency warning signs.

In addition to sponsoring the event, COUNTRY representatives will participate in the bike ride and COUNTRY will also offer chair massages for riders during the post-ride lunch, in COUNTRY’s event tent space. Participants can also enter to win a gift basket that includes Bo Bikes Bama merchandise signed by Bo Jackson, including a football, photo, jersey and a hat.

7:00 a.m.: 60-mile ride begins
9:15 a.m.: 20-mile ride begins

Chair massages sponsored by COUNTRY and giveaway basket will be available at the COUNTRY tent. Other vendors will be onsite for post-ride activities and food.

WHERE: Neville Arena, 250 Beard-Eaves Court, Auburn, AL
