COUNTRY Financial® Welcomes Summer Interns

Bloomington, IL. - COUNTRY Financial welcomes 46 interns from 19 schools to the company this summer. Interns will gain first-hand experience in various business areas that prepare them for a job in their field after college. They will also have the opportunity to participate in career development sessions where they will receive hands-on learning on resumes and interviewing, partner one-on-one with a mentor, and receive access to employee resource groups.

A unique component of the COUNTRY Financial internship is the case study competition, in which interns team up with their peers to showcase their ideas in a contest.

“COUNTRY interns help solve real-world problems and provide a lasting impact for our clients,” said Kristin Adams, Director of Talent Management at COUNTRY Financial.

In addition to the internships at the Bloomington-Normal campus, COUNTRY will also have 16 DigitLab interns at the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. DigitaLab interns create new technology, elevate their skills, work in cross-functional teams and experience real-world projects.
