BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – COUNTRY Financial® has named Troy Frerichs as vice president of Investment Services, a role he has held on an interim basis since July, effective immediately. In this role, Frerichs assumes oversight of the day-to-day operations of COUNTRY Trust Bank, COUNTRY Capital Management Company, and the servicing and sales support of COUNTRY Investors Life Assurance Company products.
Frerichs previously served as director of Wealth Management and Financial Planning. He started with the company in 2007 as an investment officer. Prior to joining COUNTRY, he held positions at Anheuser-Busch, Inc., A.G. Edwards and Sons, and UBS Financial Services.
Frerichs has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, a master’s degree in finance from Saint Louis University, and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
