Joel Myers

Senior Vice President Financial Services

Joel Myers became Senior Vice President Financial Services in January 2024.

He previously served as Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller since January 1, 2023, and as Vice President Corporate Controller and Enterprise Strategy since January 2022. 

Myers joined COUNTRY Financial in 2001 as an Accountant. Throughout his long career at COUNTRY, he has served in various positions, including Vice President and Corporate Controller, Director Accounting Systems, Reporting and Planning, Manager Cost Accounting, Supervisor Check Preparation, and Supervisor Data Control.

Myers serves on the Board of the Illinois Insurance Guarantee Fund. He has also served on the IAA Credit Union Board of Directors and the COUNTRY Volunteer Network Committee.

Myers is a graduate of Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance designation, is a FINRA Operations Professional and a COUNTRY Leadership Development Program II graduate.
